About the Millers River Chapter
In the Fall of 2005 the Millers River Chapter will mark its second anniversary as a Chapter in Trout Unlimited. Created to provide focus on the Millers River and its numerous tributaries, the Chapter, in cooperation with the Massachusetts DFW, has made inroads in restoring brown trout stocking, begun work with youth education programs and have plans to start fly tying classes in Fall, 2005.
The Chapter meets regularly from October through June on the third Wednesday of every month, usually at the Millers River Environmental Center in Athol, MA. Please check our Calendar for meeting specifics. Regular events include a business meeting and election of officers in November, a Cabin Fever Night held in February and we end our meeting season in June with a fundraising BBQ.
